Foods that are harmful to your dog:​

May cause vomiting, abdominal pain and/or diarrhea:
  • Wild cherry
  • Almond
  • Apricot
  • ​Balsam Pear
  • Japanese Plum
​May cause varied reactions:
  • Yeast dough
  • Coffee grounds
  • Macadamia nuts 
  • Tomato and potato leaves and stems
  • Avocados
  • Grapes
  • ​Raisins                                          
  • Onions and onion powder
  • Chocolate
  • Pear and Peach kernels 
  • Alcohol 
  • Rhubarb
  • Spinach
  • ​Mushrooms (if also toxic to humans)

Xylitol- is a very popular sweetener in sugar free foods but is very dangerous for dogs.  It is found in everything from drinks to peanut butter.  Please check your labels as this is an item that can easily slip its way into your pantry.
